I find it understandable. How do you think he could improve, exactly?

I think maybe he's referring to Kenny's word balloons in the second panel; the tail of the balloon follows the curve of Kenny's head so it makes sort of a weird tangent where it kind of ends up looking like the balloon doesn't have a tail — thus making it look like the word balloon belongs to someone off-screen (at least at first glance). Beyond that I'm really not sure what he's talking about.

If you were to make a change, I would probably move Kenny down in the panel so that his dialogue balloons aren't crowding him, and then move the tail off to the left so that it isn't touching his head. But I think it reads just fine the way it is, although I will admit it took me a second to see the tail on the balloon in the second panel.

I can see how that tangent could be an issue. I'll have to keep all of that in mind next time when I'm doing the balloon layout.

I like how panels 2 and 3 connect via the phone cord to further illustrate the fact that this is a phone conversation between these two. Think it makes it very clear.

When you're a kid, you often don't think in terms of the other person being a creep whose opinion you shouldn't give a toss about. Heck, sometimes that happens when you're an adult. All opinions are valid and the hurtful ones make the worst impressions, unfortunately.

At least he didn't invite you over, beat the shit out of his dog, then unleash it on you to rip your left arm to shreds.

This used to happened to me a lot in middle school and high school, but probably because I was annoying as hell. At the time I didn't know I was annoying, now I've made an art out of it.

Damn that's so depressing :c "fortunelly" I didn't have anyone that I could mistake for a friend for my first 3 years of high school, just people I could talk to and others that bothered me.
