I first wanted to give his furry a dark red with his mane a coppery color because copper tends to show tints of green, but he turned out to look too dark. I didn't wanna him to be a very dark character. I wanted the colour to be light with a bit of an edge.
In the end I went with an orangey brown with a metalic looking mane. I forget which tool I used to make the effect but I went for a goldish mane. And I was able to get some green tint in it too which I'm very happy for.
