Here's a pic of Renamon getting her feet worshipped by Takato, both from Digimon Tamers.

I never knew where to put Renamon's gender. I saw the german version (we used to have RTL II) first and she always spoke with a deep vioce.
By the way, thank God the germans decided to dub the original japanese versions, instead of what the americans did. So I got to grow up with the more mature toned version, instead of the sloppy, dumbed down english version with the horrible jokes, unfunny puns and that dreadful opening (good Lord I hate that song). So imagine my frustration when the hungarians decided to dub the english version of Digimon Adventure and 02. Thankfully they managed to avoid the same mistake with Tamers and Frontier.
Seriously, there is a scene where like:
Matt: I feet a great darkness consuming me.
Gabumon: Like a whale did Jonas?

Yeah, I also grew up with the German dub so some of the fanart of her was really confusing at first. lol
I agree with you on the dub. I only saw some parts of the englisch version of tamers and didn't like it. Renamon's voice sounded really weird and out of character. And the puns were bad, too.

Digimon feet were allways on my radar since day 1. Especially dinosaur/dragon type feet, like Agumon, Veemon, Gabumon, Growlmon etc.
Did you also noticed, how there is a segment in the Adventure Tri intro, where all the main Digimons jump in and all the ones with more popular feet (Agumon, Gabumon, Byomon and Gatomon) show off their feets? Kinda awesome.

I am more interested in the digidestined to be honest. I do like Gatomon and Renamon. I also really like Ranamon from frontier, because she has some nice looking feet XD.
Zephyrmon, Lillymon or Lillithmon could have nice feet too, if you get rid of those boots. ^^

That's cool. I just happen to be a sucker for dragon and dinosaur feet when it comes to non-human characters for some strange reason. ^^
But yes, aside from I listed above, Gatomon (or Tailmon) was my second fav. I mean she attacs primarly with her feet. I remember her taking down all the champion leveled main cast with her paws when she was working for Myotismon.
And agreed. Those boots are in the way all the time. >:I

Well, to each their own.
As far as I know it is mainly her front paws with those claw gloves. I don't remember much of the first season anymore, but I remember that it was quite surprising that Kari's digimon was already a champion level wghile everyone else started with rookies. And it is also nice that they mixed power with cuteness in her case, since most digimon tend to look a lot bigger and look stronger or more dangerous when evolving.
And I really agree with you on the shoe thing. They should do more barefoot humanoid digimon like Ranamon :)

Yup, Ranamon looks cute.
Even though, I hated her. She was obnoxious and bratty.
As for Gatomon... Yes, she being champion level most the time confused me back then. And even now.
Maybe they figured later, that Gatomon would be more marketable for plushies, than Salmon. I mean, I can't think up other explanation... ^^

Well, I still liked her (Ranamon). But I have a thing for antiheroes and villain chars.
Yeah, Gatomon is a lot cuter and easier to sell as a plushie than salamon. But that still doesn't explainw hy she is a champion level. Her looks has more in common with rookie level digimon than it has with champions. And salamon looks more like the baby level Digimon (or whatever the level below rookie was called).
My guess is that they did it so Kari and Gatomon were competetive with the other digidestiend and the enemies. Everyone else earned/discovered their champion and ultimate level over time. But you can't really do that with kari and Gatomon, because the enemies are already so strong that having her start with a rookie and working her would be a huge disadvantage and make them a burden on everyone.
Same reason why in Tamers some people get ultimate or emga level digimon right from the start while Takato, Rika and henry have to earn every evolution.
And thinking about how Digimon ahndled the whole power level thing made me realise how badly or at least unlogically it is handled in the Pokemon anime.
Come to think of it, it is really strange that Ash's Pikachu can't just trash any opponent with easy after being around for like a dozen seasons of the Pokemon anime. After all, Pikachu is the only Pokemon Ash that doesn't get switched out whent hey enter a new region/season so it should have gotten lots of levels over time. Plus switching out your trained and evolved Pokemon just to start all over again with new ones is a pretty dumb idea anyways. It really only makes sense if you replace with new Pokemon types/elements you didn't have before or ones that are vastly superior to your old team. But trading your strong Pokemon for a weaker version with a different look is just a very bad idea and a huge waste of time. Starting from scratch every time makes sense in the videos games, but not in an anime.
It makes even less sense with Team Rocket.
They keep losing all the time so their Pokemon should gain very little experience if at all. Yet they do keep evolving and learning new skills, so they must get levels somehow. And since they don't switch out their main Pokemons, how comes they are still easily beaten by everyone else? Logically they should have an edge over all those beginner Pokemon Asha nd friends like to collect. Or those random people they meet in every episode. But no matter what Pokemon or opponent they are fighting they are getting their butts kuicked every time even with evolved Pokemon. Even in the Pokemon universe this doesn't make sense.

It's been a while since I watched Pokemon. Last time I saw Ash, he was fighting that insufferably edgy Paul kid in a tournament.
I agree, they should switch main characters in each season, I mean not just the girls, but Ash too. So many weird things happening with Ash, that I somewhat believe that "Coma theory" circling around him.
Team Rocket? I think they figured, they need a comic relief, but honestly, they were never funny for me.

haven't watched Pokemon for years either. it's just the same stuff all over again in every episode.
Never ehard of that coma theory. What is it about?
Yeah, Team Rocket was never funny. Just a bunch of weird people who like to dress up in costume and use weird machines. They do not work as comic relief and they don't work as a good antagonist either. They do the exact same things all over again and fail miserably every time. And that Ash and friends still fall for the same tricks all voer again is really embarassing and stupidity.
And that is just plain boring. The only remotely interesting episodes with them were the ones where they are in the spotlight and it focuses on their history or team dynamics.
And honestly, I think that the Pokemon anime is just a huge waist of time, because it is just more of the same of what we already saw. And adding more monsters or new friends doesn't help if everything else stays the same.
There are way more interesting shows to watch. Especially since you can watch almost anything you want on the internet nowadays.

Remember the very first episode of Pokemon? There was a scene where all the Spearows (Habitak) attacked Ash and Pikachu and when Pikachu did that massive thunderbolt attack to disperse them. According to that "Coma Theory", that attack knocked Ash out so hard, that he fell into a coma and everything that happened in the anime since then, is only a dream Ash is having.
This would explain things, like how any of the characters won't get any older, the same police officer and nurse being in all towns, etc.

I'm not saying it's true, but makes sense here and there.

Sounds like an interesting theory. But I think they just took the nurse Joy and offiver Jenny thing from the games and were too lazy to change it to something that makes more sense.
The age thing is true, but it happens in a lot of animes in the past. Just take Inuyasha or Sailor Moon for example. They have been running for a lot of seasons without the design of their main chars changing. One Piece has been running for years, before they decided to do the time jump and make everyone look different.
