I use a low opacity brush to shade but I do more of a painting technique... and usually don't cell-shade because it hurts my hand ._.
probably because I'm doing it the hard way XD but still <3 this is very helpful.
I have Sai but I haven't figured out how to make the layers work yet >.<

lol that's what everyone says.... but for some reason the layer system hates me on Sai! D: SDFHSJDG
I think I can make it work in photoshop though. it has the same controls... just I have about a million different "airbrush" type tools to pick from <.>
