Here some progress, I'm working slow since I have no due to this (in fact need to get done before EF)
Already did the tail but particularly disliked the first result, will build another tail.
the foots are detachable from the legs, to make easy ship, clean, change the inner shoe (atm is a Crocs® , who will be fixed with a badass Velcro®, or maybe fix it with glue, dunno yet)
Amazing how it get light, and whole thing fit inside travel trunk.
Need to find some Delrin to build rings who will keep the belly rounded.
The pink foam is a high density foam, the yellow one is a light foam density, the pink one give to the structure a good form, even if I press everything , after a short time the body comes to original form.

Sometimes is like look to a sketch on paper and the final picture finished, on sketch you see a lot of things, probabilities, on final work you have 'what you see'.
Was about to build in a massive foam sculpting, but with the weight, think the mobility could be compromised. And this way you can have a symmetrical, faster to build since you don't expend hours trying to make 2 sides perfects, just build one, and mirror it.

I only make half of everything myself. I have never understood the need to try to sculpt two sides perfectly when you can just flip a pattern over. When we Made the dino body we started to carve the whole tihng.. and then though.. "oh, wait.. this is stupid"
Granted, that was years ago..

My first 2 fursuits was done in this way, sculpting, is a bunch of work and you have a chance to mess with something turning asymmetrical ( in fact both are, but the fur hides the errors. )
The dino you mean is Taffy? Tha one is so gorgeous, loved the color scheme and how the low pile fur gave a soft looking :D
