Here's 2 similar coyote tails, the left is an example of the coat during winter months. It's dull and very poofy, also a bit more coarse. The right is a summer coat, really silky, thinner and VERY vibrant. It's almost the colour of a red fox (and this picture came out a bit dull to begin with)
