Sources told me it was beaver appreciation month and since I've felt like creating some new characters for ages now, I figured I'd use the opportunity to create a beaver for the occassion. As it turns out, it became two.

Nicole (though she very much prefers Nickie) visiting her older sister Samantha who is a nurse at the local hospital (in fact the one Carbon used to work at). More details to come as I'm currently still working out their backstories a bit in my mind, but I think it's safe to say that Nickie is a student in chemistry at least (that seems a rather fixed fact about her so far).

Also, bear in mind that this is my first picture of them, so odds are they might be tweaked here and there (mostly Samantha needs some work, as I think I got the proportions on Nickie just as I intended them).

Posted as pencils as I wanted to show it off now and I still need to do some work on the background a bit before I ink it.
