PCT Detour to see Burney Falls Memorial Park. The falls and the creek itself were absolutely gorgeous. I'd have been out there swimming... if the water wasn't constantly near freezing.

yea, it wasnt that hot out when i was there. But I stumbled across an old man feinting from exhaustion anyway, turned the trip to burney falls to more of a sprint to a ranger station and looooong wait til they grabbed me to file a report. (Unlucky old dude, happened to ask me for help the ONE TIME i'm not carrying a 2L of water and high calorie snacks.)
