Another picture of my fun horse series. Most of it is drawn and painted by hand, expect that the text and colors inside the screen in the upper left computer screen were typed and colored by computer. The clock and its time display below the screen is hand drawn, but the display and surrounding black background were made possible by digital coloring.
Anyway, this is some sort of sci-fi setting, aboard a ship that is exploring space. Yeah, the mare working the computers has purprle mane, a purple tail and, if you look closely, purple eyes. The unusual color in mane and tail was inspired by anime, and the purple eyes are from both anime as well as a shout out for the late classic actrress Elizabeth Taylor and her purple-ish eye color. The mare is supposed to be in my mind the captain, chief pilot and head explorer/scientist of the spaceship, and is extermely bright and wise, I might do more stuff with her.
I don't why thogh they need clocks in space when they're nowhere near their home planet.

That's a good point; to keep in touch with their home time zone so tht they wouldn't feel out of whack and stuff like that.
I'm very proud of this one, with how I colored the Jupiter-like planet, colored the sun with yellow acrylic mixed with water to make it "shine", the design and colors of the captain mare, and most of the set. Though coloring the two background horses and the surrounding backgound was hard.
