I haven't mentioned it before, but I usually sample colours from each photo to make the borders. In this instance, there are three shades of blood from his wounds and one shade from his completely lowered ears.

yeah, Omega isn't always a choice. Sometimes you're bumped down that way, sometimes you're just bred that way.

*whimpers sadly* The omega is the member of the pack who relieves stress and instigates play. They are a vital member of any pack . . . but must pay a horrible price. As stange as it may sound, I've always felt that the Omega was the most noble member. They starve and bleed to keep order and lift the other members spirits. They suffer for the good of the pack.

That guy did have one advantage ... when the food appeared he was the first to go to the rock (as seen in the photo with the raven) and grab some chunks of food. However, once the rest of the pack had seen that it was safe, he was driven off and was not let near the food again. In fact, he was torn to shreds by the alpha again for having the timerity to go and do the alpha's job!
I'm anthropomorphising in that last line. Forgive me. A wolf is a wolf is a wolf and I love them all the more for it.

I would recomend this to all those furries who think being an omega is fun as you get all the cocks...

I have seen an omega female in a wolf pack in Brno... she got her tail almost bitten off so she couldn't display submission with it anymore... She was in the most distant place of the fenced area and if she moved in any direction, the pack agressively attacked her... The place was far too small... I am very glad they have a new, much bigger area now... and completely reworked.

I doesn't seem to make much sense how the omega is bullied so much, yet they're indispensable as pack members. It almost seems as if they enjoy tormenting the omega.
