The Great Mother Bear, who we saw many years ago in a story sending a grizzly bear down her throat, then later even a walrus, has finally managed to get a killer whale to take the same trip. It helps that she's gotten bigger over the years or even this laborious effort wouldn't get such a big meal down her gullet. 83
Drawing pelt stretched thin over skin is such a pain I hardly ever do it. I did it this time because back in the day I drew her similarly stretched over a walrus.

Nice, Strega! Great to see the Great Mother Bear again. I'm impressed at how well you handle such a large roster of characters.
Speaking of being impressed, your recent works have been very nicely done. The cheek bulges for the Mother Bear here and Ripper in your latest pic with him are fantastic and the drool is a very nice touch. Likewise you did the stretched pelt well too, although I agree for the amount of effort it's an effect only your fans knowledgeable about polar bears will appreciate. Still it's great to see you take things like that into account - I'm always surprised at how much thought you put into your characters and your work!
One neat thing about this is all the different textures. The Great Mother Bear's fur contrasts nicely with the slick orca skin. The imprint in the snow is a good effect and I really like how you did the water in the background. The light reflecting is done well and the ice chunk causing a ripple is cool too.
And it was great to see the rest of I-MILF too! Your skill at writing really comes across well in your dialog. Not to mention it's very respectable of you to go back and complete the comic like that.
Can't wait to see the story this was based on! It's funny that in one of the previous Great Mother Bear pics you mentioned
MeanyBeany because she does seem like she'd be right at home in his work with her ever-larger meals. I'm looking forward to seeing how far you take this!
Thanks again for sharing your work, Strega! It's good to see you keep getting new fans. Good luck with everything! :3

As I was sketching this at Anthrocon I was thinking "This is right up Meanybeany's alley", heh. No one does huge fat predators like ol' Meany.
Hopefully I will get some work done on the Great Mother Bear stories soon. I have a family get together to attend and since I can't draw there, sometimes I get some writing done on my phone.
