Revenge of the Lightning Pony
More commissions! This one was definitely a challenge, but I'm really happy with the results. I knew I couldn't avoid people-type commissions forever, and lo and behold, one of my guyfriends Kyr proposed a piece with his character Navei, who is a mostly human... elfish... crow... thing... with feather tattoos on his arms that transition into real peeling-from-flesh feathers down by the wrists. Apparently he's old as dirt and can summon things/control them with a Cat's Cradle type string? I had a lot of fun making up the beastie's design, and dicking with brushes.
