Mattaku's Zenneth storyHe is from a small village that overlooked an ocean, where he lived with his family, consisting of a mother, father, older brother, and younger sister.
One day a mysterious group attacked his village, and started to burn everything, taking only he, his older brother, and younger sister hostage. The group took them to some ruins, that had once been dedicated to a very powerful arch-fiend. In order to resurrect the arch-fiend, the group needed a virgin to sacrifice, a strong person to become a slave, and a vessel to house the spirit of the arch-fiend.
Zenneth watched, bound to a stone slab, as Saraphai, the leader of the Church of Zathiask, murdered his sister, and sacrificed her body to the statue of the arch-fiend.
Saraphai then killed him and embedded the jewel into his chest, in order to resurrect Zathiask.
Once, the jewel was put into him, a battle commenced inside of Zenneth's mind, between him, and the weakened, newly awakened, Zathiask.
Zenneth somehow, and by mere luck, came out as the victor.
So his body, not only houses his soul, but the soul of the evil arch-fiend Zathiask, who is slowly restoring his powers.
Zenneth, used to be a very happy-go-lucky, and kind individual. Now is very stoic, and reserved. Occasionally, Zathiask will take over his body, in which he becomes very bloodthirsty, violent, and lustful.
Zenneth's new mission in life is to find the people who killed his family, and enslaved his brother, and hunt them down, free his brother, and kill every single member of the church.
Having Zathiask inside of him, now allows him to use the powers of the fiend. Art/story: Mattaku_Shinzu
