I love these little guys, I have a small flock of 6 just living about and chattering away. And yes, there need to be more griffins/hypogriffs of this combination. I had made a zebra finch griffin a while ago as well XD http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6669053/
That's actually insanely clever, doing a hippogryph and using a zebra for the bottom half. I totally wouldn't have thought of it in terms of anthro-ing these guys O: My flock stands at 15 zebras right now, and I'd let them make more if they could actually coexist with each other without bickering like a bunch of grouchy Brooklynites. :P 'Course they also share the bird room with the hippie commune that is my society finch clan, so maybe they're just kvetching about the dirty hippies all day. xD
(though ironically all eight of my societies will immediately jump in the water and bathe the instant any new water is put in their cage, so the "dirty" part isn't quite applicable x3)
