Why do you make these characters so much? why don't you try making someone a little more normal and approachable? They don't have to look normal! they just have to not be a god as it were!

Why do they even need special abilties? can't they just be skilled in something?

Take Scaarth for example! He's got an AMAZING girlfriend, a very good life and is extremely happy, but he has no special abilities at all! He's just skilled! Opposite end of the spectrum, Skixal has loads of abilities, he can teleport himself back in time to avoid and undo damage, he can phase run, he can fire psyonic bolts that burn away peoples souls, but he's spent most of his life on the run and hasn't been that happy at all! Recently lifes been looking up for him but even so, he's shir scared of most Azuri's and doesn't know what to do! You need to balance characters out if you want anyone to take an interest in them!

Having all those abilities does not make them interesting characters. It makes them entertaining to watch kill stuff or whatever they are very good at doing, which isn't a character, its a weapon deemann, and people don't fall in love with weapons.
