I can't tell you how much I loved being in Yosemite National Park for a week. The scenery there was absolutely astounding... especially in contrast to the endless flat farmland I'm surrounded by in my day-to-day life. There was no shortage of photography opportunities, which made me quite happy, to say the least.
This was taken from Glacier Point, the same place I took http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8398553/ ... only this time I went up for sunset instead of sunrise. Again, it's great to just watch the way the changing angle of light plays on the different pieces of rock. Also note the guest-head in the bottom right; while there were 3 of us there for sunrise, there were easily 100 or so there for sunset. Harder to get a decent shot....
