When The Stranger Comes Along
"Well we all have a face
That we hide away forever
And we take them out and
Show ourselves
When everyone has gone
Some are satin some are steel
Some are silk and some are leather
They're the faces of the stranger
But we love to try them on...
...You may never understand
How the stranger is inspired
But he isn't always evil
And he is not always wrong
Though you drown in good intentions
You will never quench the fire
You'll give in to your desire
When the stranger comes along."
-excerpts from The Stranger by Billy Joel
Commission for tamara of her character's Jedi self looking out into the vastness of space through a starship window only to see the other side of herself as a Sith Lord staring back. Tamara reaches cautiously for her lightsaber...mainly for comfort...while it seems as though her "reflection" makes the same motion much more dangerously.

Actually, the original version of the Code was:
Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Death, yet the Force.
Not quite the same meaning than the popular version, which may explains why the Jedi failed during the Clone Wars...

I'm absolutely amazed they managed to have as many members as they did under the,
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
version of the code. Denial of emotion, denial of love, only duty and meditation. It's no wonder the Sith of the Old Empire made an absolute game out of corrupting Jedi.

I absolutely love that interpretation of my idea. The way the dark reflection of Tam blends in with the nebula and stars in the background is awesome!
The Jedi costume is very good too, and the details on the lightsaber are superb. And I dig the belt! I love the loose/hanging white sleeves, and the leatherworks, looks quite comfy! ^^
The Sith costume is very nice too, and quite a difference from the Jedi one! And that snarl on Dark Tam's face makes me shudder. I too would reach for my lightsaber upon seeing that snarling grin! And those red eyes, instead of Tam's usual green, shows even more that the reflection is not a nice person! :p I like the idea of the metallic bra with the strings attaching it to her collar. Makes her breast stands out a bit more, as Tam is not really that well endowed. Kinky costume really! :p
Thank you very much Wielder, I'll be looking forward to getting it in the mail and framing and hanging it on my wall! ^^

Unfortunately the title made me think of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW1t.....e_gdata_player
Great piece!
Great piece!
Sith! Bah! Jedi! Bah! Both are full of crap! Why can't I just be a power hungry badass with a tricked out starship with no regard for ebb and flow political maneuvering and military conquest!? And I'm not talking about extensional power like minions I mean true "murder a planet with my mind" kinda power here!
...
What? That's what Sith do? Oh... uh... well...
GO SITH!
On Topic: Love the picture, really fits the way of the Jedi and always being tempted by the Dark Side of the Force. Seeing things no one else sees of things that was, could be, and possibly will be in often a deep enlightening way(though not always pleasent).

Peace is a Lie, there is only Passion.
Through Passion, I gain Strength.
Through Strength, I gain Power.
Through Power, I gain Victory.
Through Victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall set me Free.
Darth Byrna: "Come, pretty kitty, do not fear the reflection but embrace her. She is the reflection of your own instinct, the natural emotions that all living creatures have. The Jedi would have you deny your very nature. Just... let go... and embrace the Dark Side... "

I Love the dichotomy here. Particularly how you showed it in the outfits and sexuality of said outfits as they relate to both side ideas about the use of power. The Jedi robes cover her form but leave some cleavage showing, not too much but still enough to show her breasts and a little shoulder too. This reflects the Jedi idea of power, Use what is needed and for the needs of the situations, control yourself and show restraint. While leaving some leeway to cut loose if needed. The Sith outfit covers only her nipples and some breast, but emphasizes them heavily, with all that muscled belly out to stared at. Looks like her legs are left exposed on the sides of her lower robe. This is the Sith idea of power. Use what you want and take all you desire. Let nothing hold you back and no restraint on any thing. Take it all, power, conquest, lovers, all yours. The differences shown through designs of the clothing and the slight sexual aspect of said clothing, really made this a great work.
