Oh yes. Murky water, proper colors, bubbles and refracted light will be added eventually.

Thank you for indulging my request/suggestion. First of all, I love the subject you picked. A more common choice would have been the under the sea scene, which is what I originally had in mind, but I'm glad your creativity pushed you to work on a beaver's dam instead. I mentioned how I really admire your background skills, so it's great to see the balance between characters and background in this drawing. I've been looking at it on and off since I saw it earlier today. There's really so much detail, it's captivating. This WIP looks amazing so far, there's a nice sense of depth already and GAHHH SO MUCH TEXTURE <3. I really don't know how you will be doing the water yet, I imagine it to be bluish green and just with a bit of brown XD. Aww, man I'm seriously excited, I hope you get to finish this.

I'm glad you like it so far. I will finish this, eventually. I've got a few really complicated upcoming things to color, so it's kind of on the back burner right now. But I've had a lot of fun with it so far.

The next time I attempt an underwater scene, I'd like to attempt the deep ocean.
