Just pretend you never saw me and I'll let you live to tell everyone about how you didn't see me... wait... that's not right...
Tis been a while since we seen me dressed up in my "Jedi" outfit... or any clothes at all for that matter *giggles*
Spent close to 3 hours working on the textures for that outfit, I wanted something shiny, but not metallic, but not latex/rubber, what a pain :P
I've had this idea of being sort of a freelance "Jedi" bounty hunter, basically no long apart of the council, but still hired out for some dirty work that they would rather not get into, not really sure if that kind of thing exists in the Star Wars universe, but it sounds fun, plus I get to wear what I want :D

I'm not sure if you're the jdi i'm looking for... i only have the midichlorians concentration level as information.
So i need to test your level.
Please, turn around, spread your legs and put your hands on the wall, while i insert the "probe" and "reach" your midichlorians level!
(Twi'Lek slap incoming in 5... 4... 3...)

oh oh, yeah, I did some post work, the saber does have a blade, but it doesn't render well, I only use it as a reference to make the new one. The problem is, when they made the blade, they did two 2D images in an X shape, while this works to some extent, you end up getting a shadow from one of the other textures over top of the one you're viewing from the side
Nope, you are not the Jedi I'm looking for.
You are the Jedi I like looking at.
There is one thing I find puzzleing about the Clone Wars Era. In the comics it's clear not all Jedi are with the Council. Many travel the Galaxy, go were the force leads them, help people and solve problems before they become too large. I haven't seen any of that in the animated series. I think it made things more interesting.
Personally I think it makes more sense having independent Jedi travelling around. Aside from Darksided Force Users that have nothing to do with the Sith, there are other problems the Republic can't deal with before there is too much damage. A Jedi on a civillian ship could be the end of a pirate for example.

To be honest, "Clone Wars" is one of the most terrible, outlandish, and overused ideas in the Star Wars universe. The "Clone Wars" we know now is not the same as the one in the books and comics. I'm sick of everything in the Star Wars universe now being centered around "Clone Wars" and how it's being used as a basis to compare all other aspects of Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, I understand it's a big deal and all, but one would thing that the fact that the rise of Vader and the Empire nearly taking over the entire universe would be a bit bigger than the Clone wars. Maybe I'm wrong, but for me, I want to see something more than just the Clone wars, what about that 20-some years between the end of "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope"? I bet that would make a much better story than rehashing the Clone wars for yet another series.
I know what you mean.
I remember I stoped reading Star Wars books beofre the prequels came out. The Corellia Trilogy was the last I read. "Oh, another duper weapon, oh, it's bigger than the last one." *yawn*
Star wars has so many possibilities, that they simply ignore...
I don't know if you know Perry Rhodan. It's the longes running continuing Science Fiction Series (it's in it's 51th year). Yes, they regulary come up with new threats, but they manage to keep it interesting.
The main charactersa have been to other galaxies, travelled int time, the main character just had his 3.000th birthday. There is an Empire that's been around for 20.000 Years. During the Great Empire (which lasted a few centuries) they had an explorer fleet with thousands of ships and despite all that, they know, there could be a star nation in the milky way galaxy, more powerful than all of the known nations and empures together they have never met before.
That's how big one galaxy is.
BTW, I agree with your sentiment. The best Star Wars in my opinion are the 'Tales of the Jedi', 'The Sith War' and the 'Golden Age of the Sith' Comics followed by Timothy Zahn's Trilogy. After the Original Movies of course.

Oh, I did think that was a rather stupid way to explain the force. Noted you don't like that word. Okay how about this?
Â
Well then, how about you bring that dark side over here and let me inject some of my force into you. ( I can play the dark side too. ) XD
Is that better?

well, I grew up with TNG, so it's kinda my "thing", but I have to say the feature movies with the original crew are the best of any, especially 'Wrath of Kahn', second up for me would be 'Undiscovered Country'. TOS had some good episodes, the goofy ones I kinda cringe at, but it was the 60's :P DS9 was good toward the end when they actually had some action going on, but I would have preferred Babylon 5 for a space station fix. Voyager... well, it was an original idea, but I always felt they were trying to make it bigger than it needed to be, especially with the Borg, but meh, it wasn't bad
