I fight to see my lord rise to power. I fight to destroy all those who dare stand in his way. I fight to see the continent brought under the control of the Taka Empire. I fight for what's right!
I will never kneel to a foe! I will never bow my head to the weak and worthless! I serve the only one worthy of my abilities! Until the world knows its place is at his feet I will keep fighting!

Yep, another character from my story "Besieged" feel free to check it out if you haven't already. And this ones a villain to boot!
Ahhh Garland...one of the big generals in the Taka Empire. Of course...he doesn't have that position because he's smart. I mean come on! He used Psycho Cut on a dark type for crying out loud!
But as a fighter Garland is more than capable of holding his own against even the highly skilled fighters. He just needs to get a slightly larger brain to know he should treat everyone like a very dangerous opponent.
Aside from strength though, Garland is also fiercely loyal to his master, and would go into any battle without hesitation. His belief in the Empire is so strong that he brokers no one questioning its grand design, and he will be the first in line to kill a traitor to it.
Honestly, it's probably for the best that Garland IS so stupid. Give him some brains and he might well be damn near unstoppable. As it stands though he isn't smart so the group of heroes have no trouble running circles around him.
