I finally decided that I would do some bird painting, just to get better at not only birds, but natural lighting as well; being able to observe and replicate colors at least semi-correctly was also tested in this image. I painted this from observation from a photo I took of a juvenile Eastern Bluebird ( Sialia sialis ) just outside the window today. This was completely compulsive, and I feel that I may do some more of these to continue my practice.
