Nobody can deny that times have been tough for you, buddy. The stress, the strain and the upset that you have endured in the past have harmed you. We can tell. I can tell.

You’ve said so many times that your life isn’t worth living. You say that nobody cares, that nobody would miss you.

That’s wrong. We do care, buddy. And we would be devastated if you even stubbed your toe.

You’ve talked about how hurt you feel, buddy. But there is one place in you that can withstand so much: your heart. In your heart is where your dreams blossom and come alive. Where your hopes can flourish in your beliefs and determination. I understand that you are upset that you can’t see her, buddy. Although you two are separated by an ocean, in your heart, you are closer than is comprehensible.

And you matter to me too, buddy. You too have helped me out in my times of need, as I have with you. We have become friends. And in return for your friendship with me, I offer you this portrayal of what is in your heart: You and her, together, in beautiful unity.

I know that her character isn’t a Dalmatian, but that’s what fit the piece best...
