Escort was sold alongside the Capri - which was based on the larger Cortina platform.

The Capri was sold in the US - but as a Mercury.

I think they stopped making the Capri in the UK in 1986. I like the coloured line approach too I won't use it all the time by any means but it makes everything more interesting in the first place.

Adds more character to a very characterful car. Nothing else has the appeal of the Capri. Even collectors from all around the world with Ferraris & uber rare cars come to the UK to buy a Capri
