A while back, I asked for opinions on replacing my fursona and my old friend, Aelius, suggested my old Extinctioners: GSIF fancharacter, Leo "Gaijin" Edwards. Unfortunately, Leo was SUCH a rampant Gary-Stu character that I'd filed him as "unworkable" years ago...still, the idea wouldn't leave my head, so I tried filtering him through the emotions and angst I've been going through and seeing if a little dirt could clean him up some...
Where he's been the past 6-7 years is still unknown, but one thing is for certain: it hasn't been easy on the cougar/lion halfbreed hybrid. Yes, he's still immortal, which may not be a good thing, since the bandage across his chest hides a seeping hole punched clean through his torso by some unknown foe where his heart used to be; his powers are now the only thing keeping him moving. Gone are many of his memories, one of his swords, and all of his purpose; gone also are his delusions of samurai-hood and super-heroism, replaced with unfocused rage and a thirst for revenge that will never be slaked.
All he has left, all he is now...is Pride.
People familiar with my "Wild Knights" concepts will recognize the name and probably remember the previous "Pride" was partnered with a female character named "Joy" (y'know, "Pride and Joy?")...whether this version of the character has someone similar awaiting him in his future is up in the air still.
