Well just in case anyone actually reads any of this...

This picture takes a little background to explain.

The Kitans have a culture that seems like two opposites, one of which they live on planets or planet entities, and specialize in raising food, both plant and animal, and tend towards keeping the land as minimally impacted by cities or technology as they can; but the other is one in which they love starships. Starships are so imbedded in their culture that it is considered the joy as well as the responsibility that every citizen in the Kitan alliance goes on a journey every so often in their lives.

This journey is similar to the pokemon journey in that the first one is often considered a right of passage, but different in that it is considered normal to take one every so many years, and not just one.

The vast majority of journeys on starships are done as part of an overall fleet group that supports one main purpose, food trade both with known civilizations, and often exploratory ventures with new civilizations.

In this picture we have Ritan, who has been on 2 journeys so far in his life, telling stories and tales, and expectations to Firenor, who the next morning will embark on his very first journey.

Firenor has never been off a homeworld... at least not in any normal sense, in his life. Sure he lived about 100 or so years as a dragon, but he never left his homeworld the entire time, and when events conspired that he needed to become a resident of a pokemon world, he never remembered actually leaving his world to go to the new one... he was reborn as a citizen in that world, and has yet to leave it.

So we see Firenor is very excited, this will be his first time on a starship, on his first journey. What friends will he meet in his 3 year assignment, what team will he belong too? All he knows is that it will be fun, a lot of work, and that Ritan will be with him.
