this is my very first sketch of Nyx my newest character. hes rather grumpy and is very suspicious and uneasy around people. hes very cocky in a croud but once you get him alone and try to get to know him, hes actually very sweet. for the people he cares about he can be very protective and very stubborn.

back round- his parents died while he was very young and was sent to an orphanage in the cities. now, having ears and a tail it was difficult for him to be adopted, so he began to wear a hoodie with the hood over his head all the time, and wrap his tail around his waist under his shirt. so he would be sent off to a foster home for a while, but of course, living close together reveals things about people. once the family found out about his "condition" they started abusing him mentally and sometimes physically. so he ran away. the family would then call the cops and he would be sent back to the orphanage to have this happen over and over again. so hes about 14-15 now, and gone through more families than anyone should at that age. hes found a bunch of places where he can hide when he runs away. one in particular he likes the best, is an old apartment that had been abandoned for a very lond time. it still has running electricity and came with a bed and a frige. lucky him ^.^;;

well thats basically it... im pretty sure i'll be using him once i get more of a grip on his personallity and stuff ^.^
