The Masked Hugger is a costumed vigilante who mysteriously appeared in Babyfurville several weeks ago battling the forces of evil using a variety of hug-themed gadgets such as his trusty hug-bolos, hugglinghooks, and much more!
Of course, with a 7 o'clock bedtime he doesn't really get to fight much actual crime, but he's nevertheless acquired an impressive roster of colourful villains including such criminal luminaries as: The Tickler, Ms. Cissy, and Dr. Spankenstein!
This silly picture was mostly a chance to practice drawing bigger, standalone characters as opposed to the comic style drawings I normally do. For the most part I think it turned out pretty well too despite being drawn VERY quickly...

What a cute lil' superhero! I'm sure other successes beyond stopping supervillians like Dr. Spankenstein is getting rid of the grumpies that may try and possess those who normally lead happy lives. His power of hugs squeezes the grumpies out and allows those who once were afflicted to live happy lives.

The Masked Hugger is a relatively new superhero so most of his time is indeed spent rescuing lot toys, cheering up sad cubs and other non-crimefighting tasks as you so surmised.
Of course, as mentioned before his curfew does mean he can be avoided by some of Babyfurville's cagier miscreants. Consequently, most of his rogues gallery consists of those with a personal grudge against him.

I almost set up an account and quick made the character of the tickler cause that sounds like me. But anyway such a fun character we have here...Is he also su suceptble ummm bulnerble ummmm weak to yarn balls as well? Cause kittens and yarn...could be trouble. Hope you gets to meet him someday kaffre*nods* He seems neat.

The Tickler certainly is a dangerous foe. Especially to superheroes who have to get into hugging distance to engage their enemies.
Fortunately, The Masked Hugger's patented Hug-Bolos let him to hug baddies like him at a distance now!
As for yarn, as far as I know he's yet to encounter any yarn theme villains yet, but who knows. His sweater doesn't seem to hurt him Ms. Cissy pink kitten-mittens held the poor little guy helpless for a good while...
