I used to read a whole paperback in a day during summer vacations when I was a teen. Until I realized I couldn't remember a single thing I read. I forced myself to slow down and now I tend to re-read nearly every sentence, to make certain I know what's going on and to savor the really good stuff.

The TV show has piqued my interest, but I don't hold much hope of any serious character development. I'm holding out for the sequel for that. As it is I will try watching it, may even record it. I really did want to have my story done before it came out, but there's no way that's happening. I didn't want the producers changing the canon before I was done with it. :P
