I get the feeling its from the Persona games (particularly P3 since Memento Mori and "remember that you will die" are main lines in the opening and the premise of the story).

'Memento mori' generally refers to a genre of art which focus on reminding humans of their mortality. Either with the idea that you should enjoy the day (carpe diem) or that you should be ready to die and repent of your sins. The genre developed a lot with the domination of Christianity during the middle ages and renaissance.

Since it's also a sexy sentence, it's been used in games, books.... FA image titles. :>
