Today I shirked my responsibilities and answered the call to practice using Paint Tool SAI. I haven't seriously used it in months, but after thinking about it a lot and applying things I've learned from Photoshop, I think I have a better understanding of how to use SAI now. I should use it more and get even better since I really like the painted look. I know this isn't the greatest picture in the world, but at the moment I'm very happy with it.
