"The crashing of the waves on the beach and the calls of seagulls drowned out the noise of the world. Paddling the board out into position, she watched over the rolling ocean. Quickly the sea pushed towards the shore as the swells started to arch their backs. Cris stood, head down, as the waves curled and the surf board gracefully races along the waters surface."

This is an art card I made for  crism as my half of a trade. Our theme was Summer Day, and I can't help thinking of beach when I think of a summer day.

Cris the painted dog is riding the waves while on her visit to the beach. I sure how you like it!

I did most the water and background in watercolors but had to use some white acrylic to at the spray of water from the wave and accent other details.
