Nice work with the texture Echin, it really looks pretty well maded ^ ^
Can I give you a piece of advice? If you added some fur texture, I could recommend you to draw some furs over those bends and the upper part of the short to make it look more convincent, but just that.
The rest of the work, especially the color is really impressive ^ ^

Well, quite a good job on the fur texture! There are many approaches to give the expression of "fur" with digital media: smudging colour stripes, drawing the fur by hand, or like you did: a fine combination of both! ^^
But wait, no... there is no smudging or copy-paste stuff - you did it all with brush strokes and different pressure. Really cool!
I also like the choice of colours to add certain brownish and yellow-ish tones to the fur texture. Those colours work really well together.
Fur also provides an additional challange to you: you can't use a highlight brush or dodge tool to add the highlights here. So you need to draw lighter fur or work with more shading this time. And you've succeeded pretty well!
I have but one suggestion:
Try NOT to use a sharp, clean outline next time! By using a black outline of the drawing, your drawing looks "cut out" and "just filled with fur texture". I would suggest you try to be brave and consequent and let the fur break through the bonds of LINE ART!! After all, his outlines would never be that clean... even if he's grooming his fur all the time. ^^"
There are a few parts of the body, where your line art helps the fur texture to give us a more believable impression of "fur" and hair. Look at the neck muscles and the chin, for example. We don't have a clean, closed line art here, but fur which is pointing in different directions. This is much more dynamic and believable and you certainly could've done this for the thighs and biceps, too!
Just a suggestion.
Keep it up!
