Alright, finally got around to posting the Barricade, which goes hand in hand with the Phalanx MK12 armor. This is probably the largest hand held gun I've made from semi-scratch, part of the model was fractured and had to be redrawn from scratch, involved ALOT of guide laying. Apparently I also resized it somewhere from the time i laid down the specific bores and opened it up again last night. The bores are correct now so woo.
Alright, time for techy specific things and junk.
-clears throat-
Alright, the Barricade Assault Platform, can be shortened to BAP, is a suit sized assault weapon utilizing coilds along the upper barrel to project caseless 15mm rounds at velocities capable of penetrating light to heavy armor. The magazine holds roughly 100 to 200 rounds with an ammo counter on the right side (will be shown in Barricade Assault Platform 02), this coil driven assault rifle has a low rate of fire, the best example for this rate of fire might be the AMP Suits guns rate of fire. This allows 100 or even 200 rounds to be able to be slowly expended over periods of time, however this doesn't take into account for longer than normal engagements where the Barricade expends its magazine, luckily the Phalanx MK12 has room for an extra magazine, more if there is a Commando booster.
Beneath the coil driven assault rifle is a 35mm underslung pump action 'slam fire' shotgun, its tube holds around five to six shells. These shells can be actual 35mm grenades that have a wide range of functions from nets, to rapidly expanding foam grenades to snare targets, frag, incendiary, smoke, and flash bang type grenades along with the 35mm shotgun rounds that are more commonly found in their chambers. A Phalanx MK12 user, or any of the older Model Phalanx's have few ways of carrying spare shells for the underslung shotgun/grenade launcher, solutions to this usually are custom kits by their pilots that allow the shooter to pull a spare shell from their suits arm, or other reachable location on the suit. The Commando Booster never addressed the Barricades underslung weapons ammo needs, deeming it a 'weapon of last resort' along with the Barricades bayonet, which is used as a large combat knife by Phalanx wearers.
The Barricade Assault Platform is a total of 7' and 7 3/16" long, its weight is currently unknown, likely ranging in the 60-70lbs range since it is mostly all metal to ensure the weapon is durable enough for the Phalanx suits use of it.
And that concludes the techy stuff of it. its a slightly older model I rescaled a long time ago and then modified its bore, I don't think the shotgun was part of it originally but it was a simple fix. Thoug the weapon features iron sights they would likely be unused since Phalanx's have a built in reticle in their hud to shot the approximate spot where the shooter should aim.
Despite using caseless ammo there are no casings ejected when the weapon fires, the ejection port is used in case there is ever a jam forcing the jammed caseless round to be ejected and replaced with the next round. I might go back and put laser sights on it, granted the whole HUD having the built in target reticle would make it not necessary the 'cool' factor would still be there.

EDIT: had to delete the other one, nothing I did made the 'image not found' problem go away. -.-
