i drew a little thingie for 
chaz-fox of his GELF watching some kind of races on HOVERSCREEN.

well i guess that depends on what it is about tvs that actually damages eyes :O
if it's the proximity to the light itself and rapidly changing images itself, it COULD still be a problem - as the floating screens are self illuminating.
however if the problem is something a little less tangible like proximity to an electrical device? shouldn't be an issue, since the actual screen generator is in the ceiling above, and is only projecting a hologram of the action into the air below it. so he's not as close to the device as one would think.
