The conversaion went something like this:
A "our school sucks, if we were a proper school we would have polo"
Me "Yeah! then we could have horses"
A "exactly! We should all get on this and start a polo team!"
L "Can I ride a cat? I don't like horses."

somehow that developed into no only riding a cat, but wearing a football helmet and using a croquet mallet...
