One of the main characters from Dinosaur Planet, the game that would eventually become Star Fox Adventures. I wonder how different it would be if Star Fox never got involved..? It's interesting to think about, for me.

I agree that it doesn't look like it's resting against his back. I'm going to have to experiment with that sort of interaction a lot more- a lot of my characters will have swords on their back.
I was very impressed with how lush everything looked with the increased contrast- I had to link to it because to me it makes a serious difference. Of course, the intended colors should work better, so I'm glad they do.

I've been taking a class at Arizona State's lovely "middle-of-nowhere" campus over the summer, and there's a lot of interesting architecture and landscape there, so environments are all that I've been drawing lately. Of course, I guess that's better than the "nothing" that I was drawing before that.
