For those who don't know, this is Vonnarais 'Vonna' Yar, my Kig-Yar [Halo Jackal] pirate OC. You may be asking why she is wearing Starcraft Hostile Environment "Ghost" armour and why she has Mass Effect 3 Omni-Blades. There is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this.

Criminal Record: Piracy, Theft of millitary property, destruction of millitary property, kidnapping, armed robbery, blackmail.

Backstory:
Vonna was forced into a dangerous life at a young age, when the human race retaliated for the attack on Reach and deployed a Nova-Bomb above a planet near her homeworld. Her parents were claimed by the blast and her brother presumed her dead with them.
The Nova-Bomb's effects scorched half the surface of the planet she was unlucky enough to be living on. This strained the Kig-Yar's resources to breaking point until the government collapsed, leaving the overflow population in a kill-or-be-killed environment, as many fought to the death for scraps of food or puddles of clean water.
Vonna survived this life by being ruthless, uncompromising and selfish, always looking out for number one. She joined a number of gangs and soon gained high ranking status among them, making a comfortable life for herself.
When a Covernant vessel touched down on the planet's surface, Vonna rallied her gang and overwhelmed the crew, claiming the ship for their own and using it to escape the dead-end planet. In the years to come, she lead a mutiny against their captain when he went too far in a raiding attack and fired on civillians. Renaming the stolen CCS battlecruiser, "Eayn's Talon", she revised her priorities and set down a moral code to stand herself and her crew above mere thugs and murderers, but retaining their role as pirates and thieves.
In recent years, Vonna has stepped down from her command and left the company of her crew, feeling her moral code was only slowing them down. Having sought out a new life for herself, she eventually met her brother and became a privateer operative for a galactic peacekeeping organisation, enjoying the benefits of this new position and the company of a Sangheili fleet marshall.
