A speedpaint from a day ago that I had a particularly good time with. This was mainly an exercise playing with different brushes and trying to narrow down/discover which I like to use for various landscape elements. A lot of speedpaints don't turn out, and that's part of the learning process as much, if not moreso, than the ones that do.
If ya wanna see more speedies and sketches and whatever other random art related things I feel like sharing, feel free to join me at my tumble:
YayTumblr that I am sure I am using all wrong! I also post/have posted a good amount of my commercial work on my tumblr and am not likely to share it anywhere else ^^.

I don't know about you, but I want to find out what lies down that pathway!
Thank you for sharing your mind's escape and your adventures with us! Way to inspired! ^_^
Sorry, i love it and it makes me think of Mordor
Each week they would gather, young to old, and worship, some bringing much, some bringing none. Heads bowed under steep hoods
migrating quickly through the corridors, flushing out it's existence. The young would take their place on the floor, whispering deep praise
and satisfaction with their diety; the old would man the apparatus, turning the cogs and the pulling the levers, bringing the stone temple
to life. And then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked.
:)
Very pretty landscape! :D
sort of reminds me of mordor
This place is so dark and mysterious....I bet it should be cold over there xD
Ooh shiny light... must follow... it :D
In particular I love the way the light is shining off of the rocks in that center foreground.
I really appreciate that you are humble about your work, but your sparks could outshine stars. I'll definitely have some more comments for you here soon, my submissions are backed up 24 days, though I've been picking and choosing things that catch my eye every now and again.
And thank you!
