Year of Hell is my fehvrit Star Trek mini-arc evar. Sadly, Janeway's coffee cup didn't make it through the whole thing. I still have nightmares about it falling and shattering at the end of one of the first episode. ;_;

Fun show, though.

I've always preferred Janeway, and voyager went back to the way star trek originally was, exploring strange new world, seeking out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before. And Voyager and crew had done more discoveries then Kirk had, and Future Janeway killed the borg queen and installation 0. So, who is the more bad ass of all the captains? Oh yeah, and Janeway became an Admiral and kept the rank.

Watching it right now, actually. I'm up to Season 5. There's people doing a dramatic reading/ reenactment of a captain's log.

Too bad there hasn't been another once since then. (Not counting Enterprise since it takes place way before NextGen/DS9/Voyager.) Because there were alot of things left up in the air storywise. Like what happened to the borg that were breaking free of the collective after the unimatrix zero incident. what happened to the rest of them with the death of the queen. what happened to the maquis part of the crew, were their criminal pasts forgiven? how fast does the federation get the slipstream drive figured out to start exploring the other quadrents. etc.

Yeah, it'd be amazing for someone to take the reins and continue the Star Trek universe. They'd have big shoes to fill since, in my opinion Voyager was the best Star Trek series by far.

kirks series had way too much earth racism and low brow biggotry appearent in the production that it could hardly be called futuristic in its social ideals of the society they are trying to portray.

Personally I really liked the voyager series, yes it could've done do with some major improvements, but alas it was the first trek series to break the ice on my interest in the rest of them.
Didn't like ds9, felt the acting was a bit too contrived though some characters I considered redeemable. And enterprise I didn't really care to watch.

I started watching Voyager about a month ago, once I got Netflix I decided to watch the Original Star Trek and The Next Generation, but I didn't want to stop once I finished so now I'm watching DS9 and Voyager simultaneously.

I don't know why my mother didn't want us to keep watching after The Next Generation ended, these two shows are amazing as well. D:
