now I certainly remember doing this as a kid. Taking stuff apart. It wasnt necessarily broken to begin with but it certainly wont ever be working in quite the same way again. Ahhh the fun a kid could have with their dad's toolbox supplies.
And does anyone else still stick their tongue out in concentration. I know I do when im at work because people at work have pointed it out to me LOL.

One time Mom gave me an old broken telephone to take apart. I diligently unscrewed everything and pulled it all to pieces, but got distraught when I realized some of the pieces were snapping apart and I'd never be able to get it back together again. I brightened up when Mom told me that it had indeed already been broken and not needed, that's why they gave it to me to fool around with. =^_^=
Did you guys know There's a website called "There i fixed it!" its devoted to an array of all sorts of kludges and jury rigging. plenty of different fixes there! As a junk collector in my mid 20's i still like taking apart things from all sorts of stuff then using them to assemble something different (if i come up with anything)
