This is Evelyn Rose O'Neill, one of my oldest and most developed OCs. She started out in 2001 as an RP character, but in recent years has been expanded upon and revised. She'll now be one of the primary characters in a series of novels my husband and I are working on. This is her updated look, which really hasn't changed much from her original concept. The outfit here is her "ranger" type garb which will be her usual wear for later in the series.
Though it doesn't show here due to her hairstyle, her ears are pointed and slightly longer than a typical human's, a sign of some dryad ancestry in her background. She doesn't remember her parents, so doesn't even know that much for sure, but suspects due to her affinity for nature magics, particularly those aligned with the Earth like stonesight and plant and animal kinship. To keep her life less complicated, she tends to pass as a human nature mage whenever she can. Even that wasn't foolproof though, as she was kept for quite a while as a kind of "caged bird" curiosity by a wealthy monarch who prized her unique heritage and magical abilities. She was never comfortable with the safe and sheltered life of a showpiece "treasure," though, and finds a way to make her life her own. Along the way, she developed a love for archery, which aids her in her new profession assisting some mercs-for-hire.
But enough of the plot spoilers ;)
This is an early render test. I'll be customizing the human skin template to add some distinguishing features, then working up a background in Post. Or possibly rendered within DAZ... it's crashed quite a few times on this render since it uses a lot of newer, heavily customized, assets. Her face is the most heavily modified area as far as the model itself goes, while her outfit was almost completely recolored. Eventually I'll be doing some repaints to customize the outfit further. For now, the original product is thankfully close to my concept for her :3 That was helpful XD
