Heh heh , yeah, kind of hit me when watching this video on about the life cycle of stars. Common knowledge, but sometimes I forget and just phone in the effects with all basic fire oranges and yellows.

I think it ties in extremely well, not only visually, but in the sense that his professional title is that of "Sun Speaker"!

i dont thinks this is to busy, yes alot going on, but just shows you have an eye for detail...i rather love this x,x very awesome!

I'll admit, DBZ was an early influence. I like to think I've toned that down a little with maturity and exposure to much greater things, but there is no doubt in my mind that in many ways this is a throwback to that time in this character's development ^_^.

Incredibly beautiful. It doesn't feel that busy to me. The event, the clothes burning, and the effect on the ground and body aren't too much to take in in my opinion. It works very well.

I tihnk it's awesome. The only place that stands out to me as "too Busy" is the white stream from his mouth.

Thanks. I feel the same way. When I crop it down to focus on the face or upper body, it actually becomes less busy. It's weird, I'm still trying to figure this art thing out.

I realized it would been seen that way when I posted it. I really wasn't thinking of FF when I did it.

Really like this. Whether intentional or not the effect of the hot vapour coming from his mouth to the bright spot reminds me of the images of gasses and star debris spiralling in towards a black hole and the resulting perpendicular jets of high energy particles from the poles. Also the wobbling "spin-off" around that point looks like it is rotating randomly and throwing out the stream of whatever it is forming the bubble around him.

Sorry if it was not meant to be anything like that but is what I see in it as well as enjoying it as a really cool and evocative image.

Maybe the bright spot is the singularity.
