Well I think what this person is trying to notate is the way the head and face is shaped.

Instead of having face that is more of an oval and an elongated cylinder, your face on this skunk has has angle before it breaks for the nose. I actually disagree with Zaelzolnir, it's not really canine. it's semi inbetween.

I see that hat and goggles and almost immediately think of Rabbit xD
