The night was filled with darkness, A thin layer of shadows crossing over through the night sky slightly revealed by the light of its moon. The coldness was bare, hardly enough to withstand by any living thing. Jack normally walked his route from his family’s cabin to the nearby town to pick up his usual supplies he intended to pick up for his family. Despite the freezing weather, he continued on forth with a goal in mind. His father always bombarded him with responsibilities, keeping him constantly on the move. Doing unwanted task, as what he’s doing at the moment. He crossed onwards with the relentless cold weather until he had reached the store. “Its freezing out there!” Jack had rushed into the small store making him a scene entering. “I’m surprised to see you here, I was just about to close shop. This weather is getting worse by the minute.” The clerk replied. “yeah my dad wanted me to pick up some errands before we get snowed in.” jacks eyes nodded off. “you shouldn’t be walking in this weather, I would hate for something to happen to you. Just be careful and head straight home when you leave.” Jack took his warning into consideration. He grabbed his supplies and left the store with the supplies he needed. The clerk closed from behind waving a goodbye before locking up. On the way back jacks fears of the weather worsening had fallen true. The snow was getting thicker like ice over a frozen pond, he couldn’t see. His abrupt blindness causes him to veer off course, leading him in the middle of nowhere. “damn where am I?” jack looked over his shoulders as his vision was nothing but white. His worries overshadowed him sensing he wasn’t going to make his way out. Every foot step he had given, he heard a swift cracking sound from beneath. He didn’t give it much in mind, his main focus was to find his way out, as what he thought. After his last step the ice began to give under Jack’s weight. The ice was just in the peek off giving, any much less of a moment will send him plummeting. Jack took his final step at faith, letting the ice give beneath him sending him into the frozen depts of the lake. Jack was taken by surprise, his sense of direction and awareness was gone. He struggle soundlessly finding a way to get out, Frost bite neared, his mind was drawing a blank. His eyes shut slowly with his systems countlessly shutting down. Shortly he had gave up.
Jacks eyes slowly rose to being blinded by a bright light. He could barely make out anything in front of him, but yet a familiar figure slowly appeared from his sight, what was this? Jack thought. His vision gained to clarity noticing a white fox staring at him with its Chrystal blue eyes. Confused jack sat up with what little strength he had, giving the fox what little attention he had. The fox cocked its head its head to the side analyzing jack making this moment as a stand still. “hello there? I’m happy to see that you made it.” the fox spoke in a lovely feminine voice. Jack sat there in disbelieve, as if he was dreaming up this circumstance. “what’s wrong?” the vixen replied still leading jack, in questions. “where am I, why is this fox talking to me and what happened?” his mind soared in questions still puzzling him greatly. “don’t worry I won’t harm you, madder a fact I just saved your life, in your case you should be in my graces.” She strutted by him. “but how?” jack finally responded back with an utter of words. “easy I pulled you out?” she smiled gazing at him with here frost blue eyes. “I mean like….how” jack moved his arms facing toward the vixen trying to get a picture. “oh, like this.” The vixen began slowly grow in size taking up twice of its original form. Her front paws grew into a humanoid like form, making up as a hand like paw. She stretched her back with a great push leaving Jack stunned with amazement. She stood on her two digi grade leg, standing over Jack with his mind completely blown. “That’s just incredible” Jack scanned over her. “thank you, but I think it’s your turn to return the favor.” She looked down at him expect something in return, but jack couldn’t grasp what it was that she wanted. “what do you want?” he asked with the slightest idea. “I would like you to be my mate.” The vixen laid herself underneath him. “wha ..what?!” Jack was token off guard. “you heard me.” She sassed him back. “but, I’m not even a fox, and I have a family that needs me I can’t just leave them” jack replied furiously. The vixen looked at him as if that wasn’t the answer that she dint want to her. “you wouldn’t have been alive without me, I thought you would understand.” Her face began to tear away in sadness, Jacks guilt now flourished, feeling as if he had lead her on. “how come you couldn’t find a fox of your kind. “because, im the last one.” Jack gave it some thought, even thou he was the oldest he had a younger brother and sister who was just a year under him, and his father enough was driving him like a slave. “but how would this workout?” john looked the vixen eye to eye. “I will turn you into my species, so there on we could be together. Once you’ve been changed there’s no going back. “ Jack knew he was in I tuff predicament but the since able thing to do was to help her out, in fact she did save him from dying, might as well returned the favor. “alright then, I”ll do it.” He smiled at her in acceptance to her offer. The vixens face let up with tears gripping Jack with a hug of thankfulness. Jack began to feel strange, his body flurried up in static. The feeling of a tiny needles uprising from his skin grew. His face arched in pain while a snout forcefully pushed itself out. His spine edge with a sharp pain into a tail bone. His eyes cried out with tears with pain shooting throughout his body. “it’s ok, it will be over soon” she gripped him harder. Jacks transformation was nearly over. His boots had ripped revealing his paws as his pants had gave way to making a exit for his tail. His eyes reopened as his pain slowly disappeared leaving a slight chill going out his body. “my name is Jessica” she smiled. “Jack” he replied with a whispered in her ear. The two were left alone, with Jack never to be seen again.
