Something like that. I loved that scene in Solatorobo. Red finally discovers Merveille was technically his mother. I always wanted him to have this kind of reaction. He never had a mother his entire life...but hey that's what the imagination (and fanart) is for right?
I guess that whole scene struck a chord with me cause my mom is so important to me too.
