I THINK I CAN EXPLAIN THIS ONE.

I'm assuming that the three of you had the best sleepover ever, BUT THEN SUDDENLY a deranged monster broke into the house and destroyed every other possible thing to sleep on. In the process, you were knocked out by the monster's tail smacking against you. Since there was only one bed left, the two of them first put you in the middle of the bed, making sure that you were comfortable and breathing. Then they proceeded to sleep beside you. They're so content because they were able to keep you alive and warm as you slept through the night. Your shock as to what happened is because the monster's smack made you lose memory of what was going on that night.
