I wanted to pick up a 1201FP back when they were 300 bucks from SOG... but I got distracted by ammo purchases. While I don't entirely regret picking up several cases of 7.62 NATO while it was still cheap, I still kinda wish I'd have sold one of the AK's to pick up the 1201...

This one was just under $500, and I'm very glad I got it. It's a pretty impressive mechanism, and the cheapest way I know of to get an inertia driven Benelli.

I love that sound the shell insert flap makes when you put another slug into it, omg so satisfying to cock too...

This one does have a very smooth action. Pull that charging handle back, and it's like butter. Let it go, and it slides shut nicely. It's a Benelli action in there, and just as well build as an M1S90.

what was the point of getting a new one? it looks exactly like my S.B.E.'s trigger and flap O.o

also the larger safety seems like it would hinder you(accidentally flipping the safety on and off without meaning to). you should keep your finger on the safety and unsafe it while you shoulder the shotgun. i have been doing that for 15 years now.

The trigger group is the original one, just with a few new parts in it. Pretty much the same thing as would be in a Benelli.

I actually go forward with my finger, and haven't had a problem with the safety. The detent is pretty stiff, and the small button safety was a little tricky to disengage without moving my hand. This one can be pressed off easier, but only intentionally.
