Well I'll be back tomorrow morning again (sunday). Couldn't be there all day today and tomorrow due to work :(

We won't be there tomorrow. We had to leave early because I ended up with a fever. We had a lot of fun while we were there though.

There was no one to really fully hang out with too. We ended up sitting at a table and just chatting for the longest time which is when Xander was all "Hey. Your camera has zoom right?" and I said "Yeah.....why?" He said to me "I wanna get a picture of the puppy!" I said "Why don't you just go over and ask for a picture?" and he squeaked "Too many people!!!!!"

Sometimes I'm glad I'm too picky about things XD I wasn't impressed by a lot of what I saw in Artist Acres. Not saying the stuff wasn't good, it just wasn't for me. I rarely commission anything 'cas I'm just so damn picky.

I didn't bother with the commissions and I passed up some of the booths the minute I saw their prices for prints. I got a bunch of pins, an art print, a little hacky sack looking Twilight (makes a good stress ball), a stuffed pony keychain and a shirt. My main goal in every con is the swag and I love all things cute so it's often that I have a fight with funds.

HAHA, "fight with funds" sounds like my wallet on rent day XD

Awr I missed that con the last few years what's it like?

BIG! and that's an understatement. Cosplay EVERYWHERE, people EVERYWHERE, and just about anything and everything! A bit chaotic, but somehow organized. Downside is tho, they're starting to make cuts in the furry side of things. I was (for a lack of a better word) bitched at for wondering around in fursuit without someone watching me. Understandable, safety issues, but experienced fursuiters know what they are doing, and are very aware of their surroundings, thus a "spotter" is less needed and so much more fun without one. Staff made me take my head off several times, which I was incredibly pissed.

Awr that sucks on so many levels. I really wanna go next year. We often leave from cons early cuz we don't really know anyone to hang with and we are both pretty shy so walking up to people at the cons are rare. We went to Morphy a couple years ago and so many said they wanted to meet and hang out then no one did so after maybe an hour we left.

assertiveness is a must. Being out in public is just the first step. It's announcing it that takes guts if you know what I mean.

Plus, a helpful hint. Suiters are much more open than others. Rarely will you hear a "no" from them unless they HAVE to be somewhere (mainly in the case of getting the head off to cool off).

Every time I go out in suit, I'm stopped for pictures and asked some really stupid questions. I'm pretty use to the generic "fan-girl" glomping. Not a whole lot surprises me when I'm in suit except for the occasional lamp post or fire hydrant that appears from nowhere O.o

Oh gawd I hear those things are out to get suiter as in they just jump out in front of them lol. I'm about to get a fursuit but sadly it isn't of my fursona but it was nicely priced and too cute to pass up!!

I promise I see you again I'll man up and talk to ya. And I won't deny I can be a "fan girl" (even though I'm male lol) when it comes to cute puppies!! I squee'd the instant I saw your suit.

I've actually gotten a lot better about my shyness and ironically I have my husky to thank. A lot of people like him so I have been forced to talk with more people because of that.

LOL I know what you mean. It took a fursuit to get me away from the computer and to actually socialize for a change XD

Now all I have to do is balls up and wear him in public XD he's a super cute purple and green mountain dog that I think some simple modding can be a husky possibly.
