An interesting poem, the meaning is good. Often people chase loves that aren't real, and it always seems just out of reach.

I agree with all my heart. There are times as well that what we thought was love, a greater feeling only supplanted by hate, was nothing more than a passing moment where two shared a simple time together.

Thank you for taking the time to step into my world if only for a brief moment. Poetry has been a segment of my life for such a short time and yet it has impacted me more than anything I have encountered. I can only hope and pray that I am allowed to "outdo" myself with each successive post.

*tenderly wiping the tears from your cheek*... To be in this world as myself is not something I would have any other do! Inspiration, yes, has in almost every instance come from my real life experiences. I am sure that as life settles, my poetry will once again carry a greater degree of positive light.

Beautifully done Tye. I know your frustrations with switching to a different verse style, as I've had the same recent problem switching from free verse to rhyming... but you executed it wonderfully. Excellent job. :)

As the words come to me I truly wonder what will be the end result. For these words to come forth as they were I still tried to look deeper to find some rhyming substance to each line. In this instance as I typed there were no rhymes, however there substance. I can't thank you enough, both Raz and yourself, for taking the time to be the friends you are. I will pray that both styles will be allowed to take residence within me, as I am allowed to share more with all.

My dearest, sometimes the realities of life is the driving force we just can't put aside. I would say to allow someone to enter a life and see that theirs is just not so bad, is a gift not given very often. Thank you for the kind comment and your thoughts of me are greatly appreciated.
