In Blackberry Bog!!! Yup I managed to hike along a slightly submerged log to the bog surface itself. As you can see there are footprints leading through the mud just to the left of the center of the shot. They lead out to the end of the log, and beyond that into the middle of the muck. Its up to the middle of my chest before it topps out with hard soil and gravel at the bottom. I'm a fairly tall one, at 5foot 6inches (or so) so its pretty deep!
